Angie Snelling

 

Originally from Cheshire, Angie moved to Yorkshire in 1975 to study Art and Education at the renowned Bretton Hall College. Following a diverse career as a teacher and freelance artist—and the rewarding years of raising her family—Angie realised a long-held dream twenty years ago by moving to the Cornish coast.

Now a full-time artist based near Padstow, Angie is owner of The Studio Gallery, St Merryn. Her work is a celebration of the medium of watercolour; she remains endlessly fascinated by its translucency and its unique ability to mirror the shifting light and vibrant colours of the Atlantic coast.

While her heart belongs to the Cornish shoreline, Angie welcomes the opportunity to bring other "special places" to life through custom commissions.
