  • Angie Snelling

Artist Angie Snelling was born in Cheshire and moved to Yorkshire in 1975 to study Art and Education at Bretton Hall College. After a varied career teaching, working as a freelance artist and bringing up her family Angie was fortunate to move to Cornwall, where she has lived for the past fifteen years.

Angie now works as a full-time artist and is part owner of The Studio Gallery. She paints mainly in watercolour, still fascinated by their translucency and how they capture changes in light and colour. Whilst mainly painting the stunning, surrounding coastline and area, Angie is happy to take on other commissions.

    Mike Bailey

Artist Mike Bailey started painting when he was 18 years old, and as the years went by, he set up a small pewter giftware manufacturing business, which involved him sculpting much of the original art work himself. It was through this business that he was able to move from Nottingham to Cornwall 27 years ago.

After many years he sold his business and decided to become a full-time artist, and his work has since been found in New Zealand, Japan, the US, Canada, and much of Europe. Mike’s work has been described as ‘realistic without being photographic’, and Mike couldn’t agree more. Mike is mainly a traditional artist, and much of his work focusses on landscapes, seascapes, and waves.

Mike is happy to undertake commissions – for more information please get in touch or email Mike at mikebaileyartist@hotmail.co.uk.
