The Studio Gallery

The Studio Gallery is home to artists Angie Snelling and Mike Bailey, whose works are inspired by Cornwall’s coastline and scenic landscapes.

Art that embodies Cornwall’s beauty

Artists Angie Snelling and Mike Bailey own and run The Studio Gallery in St Merryn, close to Padstow. Both traditional artists, they take their inspiration from the stunning views that Cornwall has to offer, including the Seven Bays, and Cornwall’s mesmerising natural beauty that surrounds them.

Angie Snelling

A self-taught watercolour artist, Angie Snelling draws her inspiration from the early English artists such as John Sell Cotman and Turner. Having spent many of her holidays in Cornwall, Angie has now realised her lifetime dreams and moved to Kernow.

Mike Bailey

Mike Bailey started painting when he was 18 years old. His work can be found in private collections worldwide, from Canada and most of Europe to as far afield as Australia and Japan. Mainly a traditional artist, landscapes and seascapes are Mike’s specialty.
